Avondale Children's Center
Located on the campus of Avondale Presbyterian Church at 2821 Park Road, the Avondale Children's Center has offered quality care and education for young children and their families since 1987. The children's center is a 5-star rated center, located in the heart of the historic Dilworth
neighborhood of Charlotte.
The Avondale Children’s Center opened in January 1987
as a response to congregational concern that quality childcare was a critical need in our community.
The ACC operates in accordance with Federal laws and U.S. Health & Human Services policies. This institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
The ACC holds a 5-star child care center rating, issued by the state of North Carolina, the highest rating awarded. Child care centers are assessed and evaluated every three years.
